I've been a few times and never had a problem. My first year I was worried about it but I've never had a problem. I don't think they go out if the waves are really bad.
The crew offers everyone anti naseau medicine at the start of the trip...they dont want the hassle of "clean up"
Its usually fine. But they will alert you before boarding if it will be rocky, and recommend Dramamine before leaving (they provide, in the galley).
If you're prone to seasickness, avoid turbulent weather seasons & take ginger pills or see your doctor foe travel sickness medicine.
I did get seasick the first time but not to the point of vomiting. I went 3 more times after that using Gravol and pressure points wristbands and I was fine.
When we went out waters were very calm about 45 minutes to the whales. I get motion sicknesse did not get sick didn't take any meds
No one on our boat got sick
Was oct and rainy, no one got sick, you can always see land, so that helps
Depends on the weather how rough the sea may become. I went on a beautiful sunny day and did not have to deal with being seasick.
No sea sickness that I saw. And the time flew by.
