The only dog we saw was the crew's resident dog. And he stayed away from the passengers in a compartment area for the majority of the trip. No other dogs on board. People are moving around from side to side trying to get a view. I love my dog, too, but I have to force myself to face the reality sometimes that maybe certain activities weren't made for her to enjoy. Personally, I would love seeing a small dog anywhere I go (just so you know I'm not bashing you in any way). But... Like I said... Reality steps in.
Provincetown is very dog friendly, but the Whale Watch trips do not allow dogs. Having taken many of these I wouldn't recommend bringing a dog onboard. With people gathering together to catch sight of a whale, and the wind and sun it would be dangerous for yourself and your dog if everyone brought them.
Yes ,whales love dogs.
