It does not matter as whales do not feed by time of day. If they are in the area you will see them

We went at 11:30 tour I really think it's the best time

The sunset cruise is great because the whales were feeding and we saw the sunset on the way home. If you call the Dolphin company and ask their advice from the previous day they will help too.

We had a great experience on the last trip of the day. I recommend this trip to a friend. He went around midday and did not have as much activity. YMMV.

We have done both ends of the day and find it was better in the afternoon.

We went around 11am & saw lots if whales. Try to go when the tides aren't very high (if you can) that make it easier to see them also. We called before scheduling to go & they told us the best time & day.
