The van Buren shelter helps with deposit after a stay with them. Or you could go to the department of job and family Services

Unfortunately I found myself there 2 times after issues with a previous landlords. I am disabled but had an apartment with 6 steps so when I ended back there. Hannah Jasper was able to assist me with verfication when my ID was stolen and medical bills placed in my name. When I was there the last time I didn't have my son but was placed in Rapid Rehousing and within 4 months I was finally able to move into my own place. They referred me to Map to help with some much needed furniture. There are some people who work there that truly care and do their job very well.
