Another reason is that if you camp there you have to have a boat to leave by and it has to be there the whole time. Just in case of inclement weather and evacuation.
The ferry doesn't have a deck to accommodate a camper, it is only a passenger ferry. That would be an incredible experience to camp the islands! I would pay to do it!
