Yes, they're absolutely still there! They may be harder to see because there are no longer any treats planted closer towards the river. I also wouldn't call them shy. They're wild, but they'll attack you. Fortunately if you keep to the areas your supposed to stay, you should be fine. All it takes is a tree to fall during "hot and dry" season and a few of them could leave the island. Technically ALL of them could. Maybe look up videos on YouTube. I'm sure there will be some from the last year. 👍🏼

Yes the monkeys are there but you have to be in a certain spot to see them. I heard they are mostly on the other side of the river.

The tour guy on the boat say that they had some but I didn't see any on my visit there

We were there March 2018 we seen lots wild life in the Water and out of the Water it was a nice ride

They are, but they're totally wild and shy now. Odds of seeing them are pretty slim.

You won't see them much, unless conditions are right like weather, temperatures etc, I have been going for years and have only seen them one time
