So not true we have been there 3 times and no problems it is great hotel
I think management is one too cheap to upgrade or afraid of owner to ask. The carpet was peeling, the toilet overflowed, theres a brand new TV and microwave yet the room was falling apart, and this was a suite!. I love the idea of the apartment style with the bunk beds, but I had my whole family wearing sandals in the room. The waterpark was awesome because my 6 yr old can go around the loop! 2 ft of water, lifeguards were everywhere although 2 of them seem more interested in each other than the people they are supposed to watch. If the place would do a total upgrade I would pay for the raised rates because it's a little peaceful area. I had no problems with the staff although maybe its because I was brown? I dont know Haha. Front desk staff were very patient and friendly, bar lady was attentive to the patrons. And food was awesome!
I had the same experience when I took my children for spring break as well. It took multiple phone calls in one day to receive my deposit which they denied they had ever taken one. The name says resort when it feels more like a cheap motel. The only nice thing was the water park.
