When I went to Barcs and was in the same situation, the intake person had an attitude because I hadn't made an appointment. But yet I read articles about people who just left their animals outside with no information. So make an appointment.
Barcs does not turn anyone away but I guess it is preferred if an appointment is made first if possible. They may have some other info also if you call first that could help you
