Is it possible to just come and socialize with the dogs and cats. I don’t have any pets nor have the means to buy one. But I love showing them love and playing with them. Is that allowed at the pet shelters.

You can always come view the animals during visiting hours OR you can sign up to volunteer! Head over to barcs and speak to the volunteer coordinator Claire. She will tell you when the next orientation day is. From there, you can decide if you want to work with dogs, cats, both or help around the office. Thanks!

Hi Chanel! We are so happy that you are interested in volunteering! Our volunteers are more than welcome to come in to cuddle with and show our animals love- we do require training classes before volunteers are allowed to interact with animals.
