I would say no. This would be a facility that would take an animal if you permanently can't/don't want to care for the animal as This is primary focus is to care for the animal and find it a new forever home. But If necessary you may be able to contact them and see if they have any connections else where for temporary housing options.

Hi Audrey, BARCS is a high volume open admission shelter with 30 or more animals coming through our doors on a daily basis. Unfortunately, we do not have the space or the resources to board privately owned animals. Before you consider surrendering, we ask that you look to find your pet another family through a process called “rehoming.” This is where your pet goes from your home directly to the home of their new family without a stop at the shelter. This is the best option if you are unable to keep your pet. Our partners at The Petco Foundation offer an online rehoming service which can be found at Adopt-A-Pet On this site, you can fill out a profile about your pet and families looking to adopt can review it. Potential adopters will fill out an application, pay a small adoption fee to Adopt-A-Pet (that will later be donated to a shelter) and then a meeting will be coordinated.
