How long do animals have to stay there if not adopted asap where do they end up after a period of time

If an animal is not adopted after the stray hold, they can stay at the shelter for adoption, go to foster care until adopted, or go to a rescue

Animals are usually adopted with in 3/5 days.... They end up being fostered after a certain period of time. Case by case because if the kennel is not they will keep them there and continue the adoption process.

Thank you for answering because I didn't know the answer. Once they clear the stray hold ( for the owners sake) I believe they are considered adoptable. Obviously they have been checked and received shots. I wish you and hopefully your future pet/ friend the best! Barcs is great!
