Every individual pooch is important but there are rules to let a safer transition happen for ones that display feirceness or hostility its all to safeguard the animal and make a forever home happen.
I believe Duke will be on a standard stray hold since he was not officially surrendered. Stray hold is 72 hours, not counting the day they arrive or holidays when the shelter is closed.
