Yes.. Spend the money. I didn't get the pass and we waited in line for 1hour and 45 min for everything... Bummer. But it was fun. Spend the money to save time
Was there 10/1 no need as far as day time rides most waits we're 30_45 minutes. You will still get to ride what you want. If looking to ride everything more than 1x yes purchase the Express pass. As far as Halloween horror nights for sure I would. We did and we're happy. There are different versions of it.. 1st offer is a 1x for everything the other is unlimited. I suggest the 1x We did not use use the pass for the first couple hours instead opted to stand in line of less then 30 minutes. Once line times went over 30minuteswe began utilizing the passes. This allowed us to go back and ride again now skipping lines that were prior 20min but later at night 1hr. (Including houses) they offer your tickets and passes as a mobile or paper. I suggest paper if your are big picture of video taker. I had my pass only on my phone by the end of the day my battery was almost dead. And without my phone I would lose the excited pass access
Wasn't super busy & didn't need an express pass to enjoy activities personally, at max 35min wait in line on a rush & the least waited waz 15mins, most rides were instant with minimum 5-10min wait time. Keep in mind this was on Oct. 2, Saturday. The Express Pass wouldn't hurt & is still a smarter option but it is possible to enjoy without 1. Hope that helps
I would definitely get the pass. We just got back after our trip on 9/24 and we had a pass which helped. Otherwise the line wait was about 45 min to an hour
Express pass is definitely needed if your going to do Halloween Horror Nights
You definitely want to get an express pass!
The express pass always makes it a better experience. Sometimes lines are 90 minutes.
Yes it's very busy and the speed pass is needed
Recently been there. Went to all three parks. It's a great crowd. Lots of people but not overly packed like it used to be. Great time to go.
The closer to Halloween it gets the more crowded it gets. If you get there early enough and don't park hop, you might be able to hit everything in a day. If you're considering Halloween Horror Nights, you'll never get everything in without the Express pass.
I was there a couple weekends ago and after midnight all the houses were about a 20 minute wait to get into. Beetlejuice said 40, but it only took 23 minutes. The express pass is expensive but if you want to do everything in one night, get it. We went through 4 houses in about 3 hours and rode a few rides too without the express pass.
We're here on Oct 6. All lines were 45 to a 75 minute wait. If you're only going for one night if get express if you want to see all the houses. We're planning another trip before it's over so we only did 3 houses and the show.
That is closer to Halloween so I would get the express pass. Halloween Horror Nights brings out a lot of people.
I'm here right now. An Express pass is not required.
Get the pass. Its too hot to wait 2 hours.
SUPER crowded, definitely worth to buy the express.
Depends on the time of year
It's great!
I went Monday and everything was walk on. Longest wait was the train and that was only 10 mins.
We were there 9.19_9.24 spend the extra money . Well worth it
If you're going close or during the weekend, it may be best to get express passes
Yes get the pass. It's well worth it.
If you go on a week day, max I waited was 45 min. To be honest the line is almost consistently moving, it's a good time. I enjoyed it without the express pass. Save your money...buy a multi day pass, take your time, enjoy the park, 2x pays for itself. There is no need to rush.
Go now it's the best time .
It was not busy last week of September......
Not so busy lines go faster and quick
If you plan your trip and arrive at open you don't need the Express pass. It also depends on the age of your party. Wait times have been down dramatically over the last several weeks. Good luck.
I'm here right now. The lines have not been bad. The longest lines are on the rides that don't allow express pass.
Yes! You are coming into "snowbird season"! (Folks fleeing the "frozen north" for the winter!)
Hasn't been as busy as I tho it be. Wait times at most are 45 min... at beginning of night if you get there early enough you can knock out 4 or 5 in a very short time.... Gates open at 6 6:30 so get there at 4:45 to wait in front of gates or you'll be way back.... or see about stay and scream
During the week it isn't too crowded. Worse wait we've done without express was 50 minutes Hagrids. If you're doing HHN, get the pass.
There not to many people. I got on almost all the rides in one day
It's busy on the weekends. But during the week days not so much. Fast passes are always great b/c you get to skip the line instead wait 60 mins in line to gir on rides
When I went Saturday it wasn't that crowded it also depends on where you go Harry Potter was very crowded but the rest of the park was not as bad you're able to get in line like twice if you really want to and why these rides and yes you can get a fast pass
Depends on the day. Won't know until you show up.
Don't waste your money on the fast pass. If you're going early, that's the best bet also recommend staying on property so you get in an hour early.. you can easily ride 5 rides before it opens to public. It will be dead this month during the weekdays too!
Express pass is definitely worth it
Not that busy, I visited September 26 till 27, you need 2 days to finish both parks, single riders go even faster, if you are all adults you can use the single rider line and split over, I did not see a big difference between express pass and the normal line. Early morning and weekdays are the best times to visit.
No where near as crowded as pre covid. The fast pass is still a must but walking the park was easier than before, less crowded
Express pass needed
Have been here for a week. Not crowded at all
Express passes are great you travel far why waste time in lines. However universal is turning into a eatery and shopping mall with some rides thrown in
We decided to skip the express pass we didn't wait in line more than 20 minutes for any ride and we use that money for a hop or pass upgrade. I would suggest that we had a two-day pass with 5 days to use it and we could go to either side during the two days.
Express pass for sure .there expense but worth it.
It was busy last night.Express pass were sold out. Lines got quicker after 1030pm
Yeah spend the money and get the Express passes this was my first time ever doing it ,but I stayed at hard rock so my Express passes where free
It wasn't long lines early but around noon the waits became astronomical. This was a Saturday if I were to go again I would get the express passes
It was not super busy 15 to twenty minutes was the most we waited for any ride including the most popular ones.we did not use an express pass the entire six days we were there.
No got on the rides pretty fast but parks close early this time of year you definitely need at least 2 days to do both Universal parks
Before night is pretty empty, no express pass is needed
I went on friday oct 1st. Was the best day chosen. It was not super busy. Fast past was not needed. Waiting times were like 5 mins to 30 mins the most.
Being a mostly weekday visit you shouldn't have a problem getting on everything without express especially because most schools are still in session at that time but express will just mean you get through everything faster and can do second visits to favorites
Yes, we just went yesterday and many houses hit an hour wait at around 9pm. You need a fast pass especially for Friday and Sat night. The waits can exceed more than an hour the closer you get towards Halloween.
Express pass was worth it
Definitely get the express pass. You will not be disappointed. If not, plan on standing in lines for 30minutes to 4 hours depending on the site you choose
I was there on a Sunday …Be prepared for 30-1hr long waits … but walking through with Halloween and horror themes makes it all worth it …
Closer to Halloween the busier usually because of HHN. It's expensive but gives you more time having fun and less time in line...
We went early today and didn't have any long waits. 10 min tops. A friday. No express pass needed. Only saw a few using it.
We went 2 weeks ago, walked right on to most rides, had to wait an hour twice for the really popular ones.
