LOTS of water moccasins. You will even pass a marked Breeding ground for them!! I've seen really BIG ones going down. YEARS ago even had one try to get INTO our boat!😳 Was VERY aggressive, mid summer time. But was rather small. Literally HAD to swat and bang the back of the boat to deter it.(low end flats boat, easy access in back) again 23 YEARS ago. Haven't seen any gators in recent years tho. Just be VERY aware of your surroundings and ALWAYS be ready. Usually they're more afraid of you!! Wintertime IS guaranteed Manatee sightings and encounters! Just keep your distance and don't disturb. HEFTY fines if you are caught or reported. And EVERYONE HAS cell phones!! Remember that YOU are IN Momma Natures domain!! Not the other way around!! And PLEASE BRING a receptacle for your garbage!!!!👍😁👌
Yes I have seen them there. But I have been swimming in the river for over 20 years, and I have never had any problems....if you leave them alone, they will leave you alone...🐊🐢🦋🐝🐞
There may be alligators, they're wild & travel all over the state. There's also cottonmouths & possibly Eastern Diamondbacks. Respect Mama Nature & pay attention to your surroundings & you'll be fine.
When are the boat rides?
There's a swimming area thats clear and i didn't see any gators... Or fish for that matter, was there two weekends ago
