Is the swimming area open to the public year round?

Weeki Wachi State Park is open year round, but Buccaneer Bay where you swim is only open seasonally.

I not sure because we did not went in the area cause the line is too long. We did paddle from Rogers Park upstream to the state park. Along rhe way there are a lot.of places to swim amd hang out. The water is so clear and bottom is sandy. I feel.like i did not miss any not able to swim in the state park because the river itself is beautiful
