If you camp here, like most campgrounds, you should never bring food into your tent. Hang it in a tree away from your camp. Bears have a very good sense of smell and they will detect a candy bar inside your tent. They are almost always hungry.

Where ever there's moving water in FLA. there's bound to be Bears haven't been lucky enough for encounter through 100 miles of state FORESTS. BEARS move more likely at Sun up an Sundown.

As Josh said, yes. You may also see deer. This part of Lake and Seminole County is bear country. Just be cautious and keep away.

Yes, there are quite a few. Stay on main trails. Lower watering holes also have water moccasins
