I am so sorry for you n your husband's pain n situation. I have been there and understand the underlying endurance of pain and fear. I wish I could say it is something that nver happens, but all offices have unexpected issues. I suggest you never let ant meds get that close to being depleted. If you call the office, be sure to complete a conversation before the weekend or rx depletion draws near, even if multiple contact attempts are mandated.
I no longer work for that office, I am sorry for your troubles and do hope someone was able to help you. C Stone MD
You either have to go in person or use the portal I used to have a problem with a nurse practitioner but they got rid of her. Sometimes I think most of the employees do not care. Dr stone we only see once every 3 months otherwise it is a nurse practitioner. The ultimate advice that I can give you, call your insurance company and they should help one of two ways. Call the office or find you a new pain management office. Or, the ultimate ending, call your insurance, tell them what's going on. And you want a new pain management Dr and ask them for a list of those in your area, then, file a complaint with the state. Do NOT go to Dr Dennison.. he has a god complex. And will kick you out and off and make up lies to write on a report. I went from stone to Dennison back to stone.
I had a problem with them not returning my calls. I went into the office and got it handled. I told the Nurse Practitioner. She said to email via the portal cause she gets those. Good luck!
I find it is best to go to the office and stand there until I get what I need and that is not just this office but every Dr that I have. If I need it now I need to stand there and wait until I get it. All Dr offices are using portals now and it is slowing the process. Also the population is increasing 10 times faster than Dr's are graduating from college. Be patient and understand that they are human too but be persistent for your needs.
Get a new doctor they suck!!!!
