Terrible 80s party. Didn’t promote. Spent 40 dollars on “VIP” tickets and when we got there bouncer wouldn’t let us in the VIP section and was extremely rude. Since we were 3 of the 10 people that were there I didn’t take kindly of that since we paid his nightly salary……Not that it mattered because the VIP section was a room behind a curtain that had nothing to offer. Lil Yachty as far as I know isn’t 80s music .

The staff was so unnecessarily rude when getting in. We are 19 and had zip ties put on, and as we jokingly commented on it, the lady said very rudely “that’s what happens when you are underage and go to the club.” First of all, we are not underage. We are 19. Second of all, she was rude for absolutely no reason. Then, we were asked to walk in a straight line because we were laughing. The staff is so unprofessional and I will never be coming back. They need to learn how to deal with college students. Sorry we want to have fun. If you can’t, don’t work at a club that is 18+. I will never be spending my money here again.

I had come here once before and thought the place was OK, though the bars on South Howard are much better and up to date comparatively. The second time going to the Kennedy the bouncer attending the door was very aggressive towards one of the patrons waiting to go inside. He was a pale redheaded bouncer and actually stepped away from checking ID's to punch this patron in the face (who didn't seem to do anything wrong). My group and I immediately left to go to South Howard instead. I would not consider going back to this bar as punching someone in the face seems to be their way of customer service.

The VIP is not k k k pay, only if you sit in that area you have k consume as a VIP and the cheapest bottle is 400 dollars

Ive been working at the kennedy for the past 5 years..the dress code depends on wich night are you coming in...on mondays our dress code is a little more relaxed..you can wear shorts as long they look good and are not basketball shorts... Saturday nights is our most enforced dress code night no shorts at all no hats of any type no white shirts.
