Tell them if they approach you, that you are on a restricted diet and cannot eat from their menu. I am diabetic with high cholesterol and high blood pressure. The ADA Americans with Disabilities Act would insist they not discriminate against my food choices for this reason.
It is against theatre policy like the commenter before said but people do it all the time and I haven't seen anyone removed from the theatre. I wouldn't recommend bringing in snacks that would grab the attention of the theatre staff (ie:bags of popcorn, chips, warm food). Maybe something that'll fit in a back pocket.
Lol it is against theater policy. However, my parents did it and I'm sure they weren't the only ones. I even do it if i haven't had anything to eat beforehand. If the theaters have a problem with it maybe they should consider lowering prices for snacks that they are charging nearly double for.
Yes it's not illegal, but its policy under the theaters management so no you cant bring snacks
