Weird, I am not from here I moved here from WA state last summer 2020 and I called every lake I could find on Google and the beaches and swimming was closed due to covid... Maybe wrong area... My bad. Anyways went camping at crow creek since love it!
The Smith's Fork Campground was not closed last year, and is open now. (We're here for a couple more weeks). This campground is run by the city of Smithville. Crow's Creek and Camp Branch, run by Clay County, was also open last year during Covid.
