Very nice campground but still not mature trees for shade in some spots. Our experience was quiet and positive

Great campground great view a lot of stuff around us for fishing riding bike scooters and other things. But the camp hosts are a little bit on the grouchside needless to say. You really have to have a good Personality to do this job. to do this job not just mow the grass and clean out the campfires.

Big disappointment. Standing water invites loud frogs to take up residence. Cotton wood trees are messy and sparse so not even good for shade. Bathrooms were filthy and unstocked. Mrs. Camphost understands customer service, Mr. Camphost needs some training. The price is reasonable for full hookups. The city is beautiful, its a shame that they don't take equal pride in their campground. Everything can be made better with minimal effort.

Pros: The camp hosts were very friendly. They had a scavenger hunt for the kids. The bathrooms were very clean. Cons: The sites were very close together. It felt more like a parking lot than a campsite. Our site (#7) and our friend's site (#9) was a mess. They left a huge pile of dirt around the sewer hookup. There were huge clumps of dirt and tree roots sticking out. My daughter tripped and got stabbed in the hand by a tree root. It rained the second night we were there and it was a muddy mess. Other campgrounds we have stayed at were nearly half the price and much nicer. Plus they tried to charge us an additional $20 for extra vehicles.

Our campground is open seasonally from April through October. We have a 30 day limit on staying at the campground. Hope to see you soon!
Boat rentals are not part of this Campground. Camp Branch Marina would be your best bet.
Bass, crappie, walleye, catfish in Smithville Lake.
Weird, I am not from here I moved here from WA state last summer 2020 and I called every lake I could find on Google and the beaches and swimming was closed due to covid... Maybe wrong area... My bad. Anyways went camping at crow creek since love it!
You can also get a fishing license on line
