Ok. I hope this helps. This is my first season up here working with Big Bear Mountain/snowsummit. When I seen how short staffed it was going to be I had no idea the toll it would take on the whole experience for visitors and as a worker. . Its not easy on either of our staff or guest but we're trying here. My apologies for the bad experience. I wish I could help. And hopefully your next visit will be a better one.
Wow, that is such a bummer!!! The staff is so overworked, and stressed.. We finally got some skis at the Goodwill, ordered our lift tickets online, and were able to go straight to the chairlifts as soon as we arrived. Hope this helps...
I bought the lift tickets and rental online. We got there at 8:30a and in an hour we were on the lift chair. Use the ticket boots to scan your online tickets and print it will be faster. Yes, the line is crazy at the rental place but they are understaffed and the workers are doing their best. Sorry if anybody had a bad experience.
I'd agree. Lift lines at the bottom were absolutely horrible with a multitude of people just weaving between larger groups to get on the lift faster. With 2-3 people manning a lift at the bottom, you'd think they would get at least one person to direct traffic. Nah. They're just standing there with shovels casually gazing at you.
