Yes, make appointment..but beware the last time I took my car in with a tire issue the service guy got in my car with his dirty gloves still on full of tire filth and he got it all over the inside of my car.
Not necessary, but if you make an appointment your wait time is very short and a guaranteed spot, otherwise the wait could be minimum of 2 hours.
