All dogs have to be neutered. The whole point is to stop puppies from being born. There are way too many animals that need homes for them to take a chance of bringing more into this world. You're doing the right thing by adopting so just enjoy your pet and thank you

Unfortunately they have to spayed, or neutered them regardless of the health. It's mandatory they be neutered before they turn 4 month, because breeding them is illegal.

All dogs that you adopt from the Humane Society must get spayed or neutered. The whole purpose of the Humane Society is to find homeless dogs forever homes, not to keep procreating the animals they are rehoming. Also getting an animal fixed Alters their personality slightly so that they are easier to handle and friendlier they usually come down a lot of specially after being so stressed being homeless and then basically Doggie jail. Most dogs will have a better demeanor after being fixed and this also prevents them from getting further diseases involving their reproductive organs. Please don't get your information from the internet because it is obviously wrong info..ask a real vet not one you Google. Animals are happier and are usually healthier and live longer once they have been fixed. I do not work at the Humane Society this is just common knowledge as I have adopted several dogs from there in the past and they have lived long happy lives w o reproducing.
