Yes, I used to walkin and get service done in a reasonable amount of time for oil change and tire rotation, but was just told that that I need to make an appointment as they were booked 5 days out. Easy fix, went elsewhere (less than a mile down the road, Black's Tire and Auto) for a simple oil change and tire rotation.
All you have to do is go on their website and book. It'll show whenever there is an open slot. I've been in and out in about an hour (2 at most). Without an appointment could be 3 hours (but free WiFi & coffee/tea to waste the time away). Eye contact with sales staff is safe as well. 😁

Yes. I do it all the time. You may have to wait an hour, but they have free wifi, tv, coffee, and snacks. I take my work and get a ton accomplished without constant interruptions.
