All adoption for dogs are $140 all shots rabies, Bordetella, distemper, micro chipped, spayed and neutered. Heartworm positive dogs are $110, same vaccines, chipped, and fixed. Friends of animal services helps with the heartworm treatment
They do not give away dogs, however, they do ensure all animals are vaccinated and spayed/neutered prior to adoptions. The adoption cost varies, depending on if they are already fixed prior to arrival, and the age of the animal. (Puppies/kittens have a slightly higher adoption fee) They have a Facebook page, and do advertising from time to time for local adoption events, special pricing/discounts on various animals, and on occasion, they'll recieve "sponsors" who cover the adoption fees-normally they'll advertise ahead of time that adoption fees are either reduced or paid for by sponsors during certain timeframes. They also always need foster families, which is a wonderful option to help save lives, and the shelter provides nessecary supplies for the pet being fostered, so that is free. Hope that helps!
No, unless something has changed. It might be best to call them. They may have some for a discount or free.
