Maybe if you're going to ignore anyone who doesn't have an appointment make sure people know to have an appointment I stood in a stand still line for well over an hour and a half; no one said anything, we left without seeing any cats because no one was helping anyone

I adopted my cat from here and had a really positive experience. The staff were super nice and helpful and I got to take her home in the same day. She is healthy, super sweet, and loves my dog!

I called about a stray cat that’s been hanging out around my house for a while now. I told them i’ve tried to catch it myself but i just don’t have the help i need so it makes it impossible. i asked if they could catch the cat and said i would adopt it. the man on the phone basically told me if it had rabies or any other sickness he would catch it but since i think it’s fine that they wouldn’t come out here. he told me to catch the cat myself and bring it to the pound. he definitely does not seem to care about animals in need of a home. it blows my mind that it is their job to catch stray animals, especially if someone wants to adopt the animal, and they won’t do anything. lazy and sad.

We arrived on time for our scheduled appointment and met some very sweet cats. The staff was helpful and answered all our questions with fast & easy process. The facility was also nice and clean. We have now added another member to our family. Thanks!

Cape Fear is going to be your best bet. But honestly, they’re so quick and efficient you can drop off that morning and likely pick up early that afternoon, just hang around the area. We dropped off our male cat at 8 to be fixed, we got a call around 12 after my husband drove all the way back to Jville to let us know he was ready.
I'm not really sure. You would have to call them and see what they say. They may have some fosters families out there who have one if they don't.
Yes they allow that u have to do a small orientation it's like an hour showing you the place
Only as a last resort. There are foster programs in place. Every attempt is made to return strays to their owner. and the shelter works with many rescue groups.
Fix a friend is who the shelter uses, for the dogs and cats that get adopted. They are a bit of a drive but are so cheap, its worth the drive. If you come in to the shelter they have their card they can give you, with all their information.
They are closed sunday and monday...you can see available dogs online.
Adoption first has a low cost spay and neuter clinic right here in jville.
The front building is under renovation. You've got to go to the building in the back, walk thru breezeway and it will be 3rd for on your right
Yes
Not really sure, If not mistaken, you need to call them personally because your situation will have an influence on that.
From my recent visit to the Shelter, I am quite certain it is a No-Kill shelter.
Then go to the phone and find out what happened
You would need to talk to the animal control people at the shelter itself otherwise it would be handled by a vet at one of the veterinary of shops
Rubies is not 500. Not even close to 500 for adopting from them.
The shelter spays and neuters the dogs and cats that are adopted out only. Not people who are looking for a place. They will give you local vets and offer spay and neutering clinics that are cheap. Fix a friend spay and neuter clinic is the best and low cost.
I would try Facebook first...then one of the Pit Rescues in the area before sending him to the Animal Shelter
Yes must be 16 and have to do a small orientation
Puppy ...but he's getting big my landlord say I have to have a smaller dog I really don't want to give him away but I rather trade to get smaller dog ... he's friendly and scared of some dogs
Call 455 0182. They will assist you with the process.
All adoption for dogs are $140 all shots rabies, Bordetella, distemper, micro chipped, spayed and neutered. Heartworm positive dogs are $110, same vaccines, chipped, and fixed. Friends of animal services helps with the heartworm treatment
Yes
Rabies are $10 monday - Thursday. They do have live traps to rent. Its $50 deposit and when u return traps, you get the $50 back. Traps have to be returned every Friday.
You would have to call them and talk to sneone
Yes you can
They do. Thinks its $50 but you can't be there. Is by appointment only. You can call when they open at 12
They are open on Saturdays. You may call their number to get more information.
I don't know Call them
Do you still have the kitten?
Email them or you can call dispatch
For your safety I would advise getting assistance in catching these wild kittens, It will prevent the kittens from attracting other predators also. Ignored kittens mature to feral cats which repopulate
They have rabies vaccination from tues to thurs 12-5 every week for $10. As far as the cats I would call or stop by and ask
The shelter always greatly appreciates any donations.
$100 includes all shots spay and neutering and microchip
Also call all the vets and or make up fliers and send/take to all of them and if the thief takes him in they will know to call police
Good place to go for kittens. They had 3 sisters so my daughter-in-law got 2 of them and I got the 3rd one. They also had other cats and kittens.
I believe $50 deposit and when u bring it back it will be refunded.
There should be some there now. This last Saturday we had adoption event, and all of the adoptable dogs were adopted. I believe there are about 7 dogs out for adoption now. Photos are up.
Onslow county Animal shelter dose not have a vet on staff.
You'll need to call them and get put on the owner surrender list. They only take owner surrenders by appointment.
Traps can be picked up on Tuesday as the shelter is closed on Monday and need to be returned on Friday.
Excellent choice. They always need help with exercising and socialization and cleanup.
Yes. There is a 50 dollar deposit and they have to be returned by friday so i recommend getting one on Tuesday so you have it all week!
Do yourself and your canine's a favor, and take them to Wagtime on Gum Branch road.
Not sure if buster is still available. Generally if they arent on the website then they arent available. As for mondays the shelter is closed for cleaning but does reopen at 12 on Tuesday!
I'm sure that you can. They keep record of adoptions. How far back in not sure
