Sorry to hear that. I 've been going there for about 20 years also. Always had good service. If I were you I'd give it another try. And let them know what happened. Good luck.
I have always been treated with kind attention. Sometimes when they're busy there is a bit of a wait but I always read a book or chat witjh my friends. The food is incredible. I had a BLT the other day that lasted 3 lunches and was delicious with 6 or 7 slices of bacon.
I've been in and out of Doug's for the past 20 years, service has always been excellent, the staff has always been attentive and friendly, they do get really busy on the weekends and it can be a bit of a wait.
Agreed, I've never received anything but friendly service at Doug's. They're the most popular breakfast place in town, though, so there can be a decent wait to be seated, have drinks/orders/etc taken. Every staff member I've met there is super nice, and if you flag someone that isn't your waiter, they'll make sure whatever you ask is done for you.
They were probably very busy, I am just going to assume that you didn't have enough patience. If this was their normal practice, then their food must be really good for everyone to put up with it. I have always received reasonable service at Doug's.
Me and my family love Doug’s we been goin there for quit some time . They are very attentive towards our needs my son who is 10 with type 1 diabetes every time we go in there they have his food within minutes due to his illness . Sorry your experience was bad all I can say is give them another try they are amazing and the food is great
My family and I went to Doug's today around 12 noon and altho they were busy we got very good service. Don't give up give them another chance their food is good and their prices are reasonable.
I had the same experience here, tbe only 4* reviews I can see are people who have been going here for years.
Does this place have counters and tablecloths?

I find it strange that you were ignored. Doug's staff is always very attentive and friendly. It's worth giving Doug's another try. The food is worth it!!!

We've been going to Doug's Place 16+ years and service always been friendly. They do get busy but the food is worth the wait. You should of kindly said something and the will make it right. Go back and give them another try. Enjoy!!
I've always had good experiences there. I'm sorry to hear you had a bad experience. They do get pretty busy at peak times, though.
This is unlike Doug's, the staff there is so humble. Been going here for about 3 years and I've yet to have any issues. Just be a bit more patient and you'll have a good time.
