Hi Iris, If the health care practitioner is from a state that borders Vermont, (NH, MA or NY) they can verify for the Vermont Marijuana Registry. They will still have to review the patient's medical history and current medical condition and provide a physical exam. Hope that helps!

There are some in NY who are authorized to do so, and there may be more. I'd check the main VT medical marijuana site.
