So far only a few recreational locations are open and they make it very clear that they offer recreational. If it does not clearly state that it offers recreational, you can assume it does not. Relatively near Boston is Salem which does offer recreational. Salem does NOT accept walk in customers. If you want recreational marijuana then go to the Salem MMJ site online and book an appointment. They have shuttles from the commuter rail station. Just as a local plug, there are some great bakery and chocolate shops in Salem and dropping by for some goodies to nibble would be a good way to round out your visit.
