New to the area so tried this place out. Sides were okay but the technique on the top is something I’ve never seen before, felt rushed, and missed most of the left side of my head, as you can see by the picture..

Very nice traditional barber shop which many men go to for decades. Good haircuts at outstanding rates for Boston. You are taken in arrival order, or you can wait for your favorite barber (no appointments, ordinarily)

Great old school neighborhood barber atmosphere. The guys that work here are such a pleasure. They're quick, precise, and pay great attention to detail. They're also really good with kids!

This was the worst haircut I’ve ever gotten in my life. I asked him for one single thing: to cut my hair evenly. After three or four times he still couldn’t see that he left one side much longer than the other. I uploaded a picture so that you can see it yourself. He asked me if I want to gel, how I like to comb my hair, I told him I don’t care about any of those things, the only thing I care about is for my hair to be even. He failed to do that despite me telling him multiple times. He tried to show me the hair clippings from the razor to show that he was cutting the same length, but look at the mirror. Am I taking crazy pills, or does that look ridiculously uneven? To top it off, as I was leaving, he said maybe you should go back to your original barber. Thanks Sal, I just moved from New York city, I guess barbers in New York City are just much better than the ones here. I cannot understand how you are a highly rated barber in this area. Truly awful
