Because of the red tide, I am trying to find a safe beach to swim at near North Port. Brohead looks to be clear. Do people go to Brohead without dogs to swim? Or is it more just for dogs?

We were there a couple of weeks ago. The water was clear.not blue.,but there was no smell. We didn't have any respiratory issues. I was in the water no issues.

Depends on your tolerance. It doesnt bother me. I was there thurs and fri. Dogs in the water. No dead fish. But there was a smell. And ive been going there with the dogs 3-4 times a week for 3 weeks and havent seen a dead fish
