This is a great question. The Tile Counsel of North America (the “bible” of all things tile) refers to height differences from tile to tile as “lipage.” The acceptable amount of lipage allowed depends on how much the tile is warped. Most, if not all, man-made porcelain tiles have a slight bow usually right in the middle of the edge. Also, unless a tile is “rectified,” there’s no guantee that the tile is perfectly square, either. So, as you can see, a number of factors can contribute to slight uneven edges, even on a professional installation. I don't have that type of flooring, however I'm positive if you call Flooring America, they will come look and make it right!!
