To ensure you get a decent seat...and I have a hard time believing you were standing "on the street" if you did, in fact, get there at 9:15. I've been there multiple times and never been "on the street" while waiting. Door staff welcomed us in to visit the bar, use the bathroom, whatever. Tampa Improv is a top notch facility with top notch staff.
Got there super early for Joe D last month. We were seated at the bar and got a front stage table. Great time. 10/12/17
