Yes they allow some stuff but No glass containers or large coolers. Small soft side ones were ok or the back pack type.
We brought food and we didn't have any problem. You cannot bring things in glass, because it can be broken and is dangerous, and you cannot bring alcohol.
Yes you can put fruits veggies and snacks in your knapsack or backpack. I did so for four days and nobody stopped me
No, I do not think so. We were just there, and I never saw anyone carry a cooler, etc. I had a backpack that I carried a few small snacks in. All bags go through an x-ray machine before you enter City Walk.
I brought sandwiches and chips in my backpack to it so yah
