I'd recommend it if you plan on walking barefoot all day. Don't do it! The cement hurts your feet after a while. I've gone twice and regret walking bare foot. They do have sand everywhere though and some foam mats here and there so you can walk on those when you get the chance.

They have shoe stands at all of the rides that require barefeet. I went all day barefoot without issue, but lots of others wearing shoes.
