Or you can call animal control in your county. I'm not sure what they do with animals that are hurt though. Second chance is a wonderful place for rehabilitation or just for placement of wild animals.

No but they can dispose of the body.

If its wildlife, try Second Chance Wildlife, which does rehabilitate injured wildlife. They are about 3 miles away from the Animal Shelter.
