Beautiful large fenced veggie and flower garden next to agricultural center. Plenty of parking. Nice place to walk or sit.

The garden was beautiful. I went there with my dog, so I didn't get a good look at the garden. Maybe another visit...

This was a nice surprise to learn about the past and freely roam the area. Although it was the off season there is a nice garden. The main visitors center was closed though. I like how they have informational tabs of information at each area.

Questions & Answers

Is it ok to cut back azaleas now that they are done blooming? Will pruning prevent flowers for next year?

I am not a master gardener but I have tons of azaleas. I have trimmed them significantly after blooming and they come back very well.

What should I do with my water container greens (had water lilies) when fall arrives? Is it ok to compost or will it spread or should I put in the trash?

Should be fine to compost

My Rose of Sharon bushes are wilting and seem to be dieing They are 30 feet apart and have been growing fine for the last 8 years at least. No perceivable parasites or spots on leaves. Very quick demise, about 2 weeks.
