Is there parking at the station? If yes; is it free? Is there any security to keep our car safe for a few days?

it has free parking, however has a deserted feeling. would not recommend having vehicle there

Call the station .its a small city .so i would think it free. I was there by train .its free parking at Riverside CA.. thats a lot bigger city.

There is free parking, but there isn't any security. Sometimes, if no passenger train is due, the depot is closed. Albuquerque is worse. It has metered parking & still no security, but the station is usually open. It's best to have someone drop you off &/or pick you up.
