Area is ok, the parking lot is very nice and bright. Lots of security cameras everywhere which is good. The people at night shift were great and seemed very nice. Room Looked ok, didn't really have a terrible smell usually some places smell funky because the AC is off most of the day. Which it had a funk but not for long Once I turned on the AC the room didn't smell as bad. I did have some cleaners and mircoban disinfectants with me and Lysol.. the floor definitely needed to be mopped I got a few rags and soaked them and cleaned the floors, I should have taken a picture of the rag..I still didn't walk barefoot and took a shower with sandals on, after how the room was kept.. They Really need to do better at mopping and wiping things down, only takes a few minutes and makes a difference in people's stay and your business. I shouldn't have to clean the TV remote, light switches, and the door and door frame and bedframe, they were a bit dirty.I sanitized the toilet and shower just because, it did appear clean. There was a bit of dog hair and hair on the bed and bed skirts lint rollers go along way for the bed skirts but it was time to wash them they had stains. The sheets and blankets did have old stains on them, you need better detergent or add oxy clean and wash in HOT water. I believe im allergic to whatever brand of detergent they're using in the sheets I felt itchy, I didn't see any bugs in the beds or on me. We did see a dying beetle, which is good it was dying because that means they have pets control coming there so that was a relief. If the house keepers spent maybe another 10 minutes in each room it would go a long way. The microwave and fridge was perfectly clean though. But I've been to worse hotels than this one. Once I got to Texas I decided to spend another extra $100 at another hotel the next night and it was worth it, best sleep I ever had at a hotel and the room was very clean, smell free, they had the AC on for me already, bed was soft and the blankets were soft..I love to buy those comforters for my house 🤔.. You get what you pay for. The Red roof hotel is a 2-star hotel if you want a perfect room you need to go to a 3-4 ⭐ hotel. If you don't want to spend the money well there you go.. but the 2 ⭐ could clean a little better and go along way with business.......

Budget hotel so not too much to expect. Weight room was decent, rooms were dated but clean. Shower had a drip all night but the ac was cool and drowned out most of the sound. Real complaint was the included breakfast did not offer water, juice, or kid friendly liquids. Not sure why there was no running water / water fountain, or bottled water as options for their guests in the dining area. The managment was aware of the situation but had made no efforts to consider the needs of their guests. A simple and inexpensive solution might have been to send a staff member down the street to grab a case of bottled water to offer as a courtesy till their machines were repaired. However the attitude was 'not their problem' which was off putting and made our stay less pleasant.

The room was clean and well appointed. Seemed to be recently renovated. Adequate hot water Common facilities were dingy and the ice machine broken.. Breakfast was instant oatmeal and a waffle maker. Breakfast ended at 9 am which is 8 am if your body is still on Arizona time. Kind of ridiculous for a hotel about 17 miles from Arizona. Overall a solid option which does what a hotel room has to do well and no more.

Love this location. The rooms are always clean, the property is kept up and very well lit up at night! From the front desk to housekeeping, they are all nice and professional. They also offer a small Continental style breakfast 🥐 in the morning. We have always felt comfortable and safe here..
