Identity. Your handle is what you do and who you are. It's a moniker that defines you. Not only is that technically correct, but it is applicable. The owner and executive chef, whose name is Briar Handly, not Handley, along with the two other founding partners Meagan Nash and Melissa Grey, came up with the name handle to also be their concept, their identity and essentially mission statement for what they were going to be.
While Michael is technically correct, in this case it's not applicable. In this case, as I understand it, Handle is derived from the executive chef's last name, Handley. I wish it meant the restaurant had a handle on it, so I could carry it home and eat their food every day! 😁
