The above answer is incorrect. The process starts online, where you will fill out a pet surrender form and submit. Within 48 hours of submission the Admissions office should give you a call to schedule the appointment. At the appointment your pet will go through assessments (health and behavioral) to see whether whether Wayside can take them into the shelter.
You can call the reception desk and they can schedule a time for you to surrender your animal.
