The only way to avoid a large crowd it to be here are like 6 am. No matter when I come here ( which has been like 6 times in 3 weeks due to coming with multiple family members) I always have to wait from 4 to 6 hours for non appointment and about 1 hour for appointments. MAKE APPOINTMENTS AND SPARE YOURSELF.
Saturday 4pm, one hour before closing; today is a breeze, no wait on the first line.
I've has success going in the middle of the month, middle of the week, towards the end of the day. Less people during those times then after 3 they are working faster to get everyone out so they can go home
