I made a reservation over a month ago and called to make sure I was going to get the handicap room with either a walk-in shower or a folding chair attached to the tub and was told my accommodations would be met. When I arrived the man at the front desk, who didn't have a name tag nor wanted to tell me his name, told me they didn't have any handicap rooms and that they charge for my service dog after I was told she would stay for free. I was okay with paying for my pet and after 5 minutes of trying to look for a room that was accessible, they finally found one. I was given the key and headed around the corner to the room. Opened the door and noticed the beds were full and no queens and I thought I was okay since the room needs more space for the handicap chair. I walked to the bathroom, which was spacious, and it only had a tub with extra handles. I immediately walked back to the lobby and asked for a different room, but was told that was the only one. I asked for a full refund and was told I would receive one, however, the man refused to give me a receipt for the cancellation. I checked my account and I was charged for the room. I called customer service and they said that each hotel is separately owned and that I needed to call the location back. Again, was told I don't need a receipt and should be getting a refund in the next 3 to 5 business, but now I can't stay anywhere else due to the charge on my account.

The room was alright. The beds were comfortable, the ac worked well. The price was fair and I'm glad I was able to find a room relatively close to my destination since I didn't intend on booking one. However, the bathroom had a few issues. First the bath had hair from the previous guest, and the upper half of shower curtain was transparent. Since there was a vent at eye level against the wall that could watch me as I shower, you could imagine my level of discomfort. The room itself had minor issues where cables from the wall would stick out but didn't bother me none. The TV does have Netflix installed but you must have an account. Other than that, it does offer cable but note that it doesn't have much and some won't load. My biggest complaint however is that included in my booking email was the amenity of receiving "complimentary" breakfast. Which I'm sure is simply included in the price. There were no signs at check in and I was never told that it would be closed "due to covid". Recently staying at a couple more popular hotel locations that did offer, I feel like this was more a staff decision than a corporate one.

Basic room and accommodations. Good price. Pool uninviting. No breakfast. Our first room had an awful sewer smell and the temperature control did not work-no microwave(218)- we changed rooms. Room 320 was a lot better, though it had burned cigarette marks on the tub, the temperature control worked perfectly, fridge and microwave good, hot water and water pressure on point! I forgot my steamer and had to use the iron-worked perfectly. Could use more outlets and usb outlets.

Don't even bother staying here. TONS of bugs and roaches, stains and blood stains on the blankets, random hair on the bathroom floor and in the shower. The floor does not feel clean and rather dusty so walking around barefoot is a no. Very loud as it's right by the freeway and weird people yelling and talking to themselves in the morning making this place not feel safe. Bathroom is very old and the drain had no drain cover or anything so you can see right into the dirty moldy pipe. Toilet flush is weird and super weak. You get what you pay for I guess but it is still unacceptable for a hotel to be this dirty. The only good thing about this hotel is housekeeping as the ladies are very nice.

To give time for the rooms to be cleaned and given fresh towels, sheets, soaps, etc. Sometimes you can ask for an early check in.
Yes it has internet access and this is a nice place for relaxation.
La Quinta is pet friendly. They do not charge extra.
