There are quite a few, but I certainly wouldn't consider it a beginners mountain. Obviously the runs off Teewinot or the midmointain stop on the sweetwater gondola are beginners runs, but there are easier mountains if you're traveling from a long distance. For example, Grand Targee which is just over the mountain is a much easier and family friendly mountain.
Most terrain is very difficult. If you end up in the wrong place as a beginner, you could be in trouble. Sweet water gondola and teewinot are beginner, but i don,t recommend the mountain for beginners. Snow king is a mountain nearby that is a little easier but not as big. Plenty of other good, easier mountains in that part of the country.
Yes.
There are around 5 or 6. Most of the runs are for intermediate and advanced skiers.
Although there are beginner runs, this is not a mountain for beginners.
Yes, there are several beginner runs off of Teewinot lift. You can also take the Sweetwater Gondola up to Casper for slightly more challenging beginner terrain. There are also several other options. It may be best to ask a ski host for advice based on your level. They can suggest several areas that are good that day.
Yes, many
