Had a great visit here in early June. Had wrist passes for the day to take the aerial tram up and down as many times as we wanted. Cloudy morning with delicious waffles at the top thanks to Corbets Cabin took us into a clear and beautiful afternoon with breathtaking views of the valley to the east and snow covered peaks to the west. A great time watching the paragliders which I would like to do next time.

We always start our day taking the tram to toast our first run with waffles at Corbet’s Cabin. The resort offers a variety of runs for abilities, but more heavy for skiers that enjoy cutes and steep runs. The Tetons are a treasure.

The resort itself is fantastic! While we were here the lines were very short and the lifts, gondolas were all operating very well! There’s an awesome mix of groomers and trees and off piste skiing. There are quite a few traverses that are good if you want to cross the mountain but can be a bit annoying when they cross your run, but overall not a big deal.

My First visit in December 2021 was epic. Challenging terrain, incredible snow conditions, well groomed, friendly and helpful staff, many lifts and gondolas, multiple options for food/drink, and downright beautiful. There were some things that were less-than-epic though. Finding a Parking spot was challenge, and parking is expensive ($30-40 for a few hours). Private lesson was great for my sons but expensive - almost $800 for 4 hours. An electrical problem disabled most of the lifts one day…A refund wasn’t offered. Lift tickets are very expensive - $135 for half day. Weeks in advance, I Couldn’t even get full day tickets because they were limiting sales due to Covid (?) My sons are novice-level snowboarders and beginner terrain is limited.

I noticed that north of the town of Jackson they have sleigh ride s that go through The Elk reserve. Looked fun
October is partially open, as it is in between seasons now. Many back in fuller swing by December
Perhaps the Virginian
My suggestion would be to call the resort and ask. There's a parking lot serviced by a commuter bus for the resort a few miles from the resort that might be available for short term parking
Jackson Hole offers a discount for over 65s. The daily J-card (online) price is $124 for +65s.
Tram rides are included with daily lift tickets. There is parking for an additional fee located adjacent to the tram dock.
Open in what way? Open for hiking? I think it depends on the time of year.
Usually once we get about 175 inches of snow on the season, almost every run on the mountain will be open.
You can ride down.
Take the Salt Lake express! Really nice public transportation for less than a rental car!!!
There are quite a few, but I certainly wouldn't consider it a beginners mountain. Obviously the runs off Teewinot or the midmointain stop on the sweetwater gondola are beginners runs, but there are easier mountains if you're traveling from a long distance. For example, Grand Targee which is just over the mountain is a much easier and family friendly mountain.
Too many to list. Most are in the black diamond run area though. My advice is to download the JH tapped app and check on it that way. Works great for me
Yes. They are located in the Bridger building. Not that many, but at least there are some for rent.
I suggest to calling iconpass customer service
