It's crazy every day! Last year there was a lot more bikes then this year so.... But go for sure. You'll have a blast!
I would be concerned with leaves on the road at that time. I live in pa and most of the leaves have fallen by that time, but that far south might be a different story. Check fall foliage maps or ask a local.
Like others have said if you are on a motorcycle, watch for fallen leaves in the road, if you are in a car or pick up should be no problem. No trailers over 30 feet are allowed and any size trailer crossing the yellow line can be ticketed. I ran it 3 times, first for road conditions, second for medium speed, and third for what I came for.
Yes. If you're worried, go before 10 or after 3. That time of year there's not too many crazy people since the road doesn't warm up enough
the only time it's safe is during the week. pavement bone dry. radar checks, safety spots by the police is a daily occurrence.
Nov 5! The leaves are still more green than color, so leaves on the road could be a real problem for thanksgiving, I did it today, very few were on it around 3 pm. At least the Model T guys were off if it and on the Foot Hills Parkway!
Make sure the road is dry. Wet leaves are really dangerous.
Yeah it's always a nice safe stretch of road. Have at it!
