Good place to stay if you just want a place to sleep. Room was small, but plenty for one person. I would consider staying again if in the area, though I might go for one of the bigger rooms. Pros: - Staff at check-in was friendly - Bed was very comfortable - Shower had plenty of hot water, decent pressure, and the showerhead was high enough I didn't need to duck to use it - Wifi was enough for streaming movies - There was covered parking available for motorcycles Cons: - Toilet was so close to the wall that I had to sit on it at an angle - Shower was tiny, barely had room to turn around - Could use some TLC, things like re-painting the doors/frames, trim missing or pulling away from wall, and a loose switchplate - Non-smoking room did smell slightly of cigarette smoke when I got there

My husband and I decided to take a last minute motorcycle trip but our usual spot was booked. He found Phillips online and they had availability so we booked! I was a little hesitant when we first pulled up. It was dark out and difficult to see especially with a helmet on. But I immediately fell in love with this cozy, eclectic little place! The owner was very friendly but not as friendly as his cat! Lol. The sweet little guy followed us into our room like he knew he belonged there. The room decor was a little dated but only added to the whimsical charm of the place. Our bed was super comfy and the room was very clean. The iron and wooden dragon sculptures on the front lawn are fantastic! If you’re the whimsy, eclectic, art loving type adventurer than this place is for you. We will definitely be back!
