1. The A.T. Guide describes this place as "hiker friendly". Nope. No hiker box, no help with or knowledge about getting your Smokies permit. 2. Room was in disrepair. Website says "newly renovated". Ha! Maybe in 1970. Dirty/cracked bath tile, peeling wallpaper, etc. 3. Price was ridiculous for this quality in this part of the country. As an A.T. thru-hiker, you don't find a bad deal like this until you get to New York. 4. Questionable ethics. You don't get an itemized receipt so who knows what bogus charges are added as "taxes". A hiking buddy got the same room but paid a lot more.

I like this place. Reminds me of days past when many motels in small towns were mom & pop places like this. I’ve stayed here several times on fishing trips to the area. Yep, it’s old but rooms are in reasonably good condition and very clean. TV channel choices are outstanding. Folks are very nice and accommodating. It’s quiet, adequate towels, coffee maker, mini fridge, affordable, what more could you ask for? I’d take this any day over the overused “modern” hotels that cost twice as much.

Is was small and convenient to most things. It was clean and the people were very nice! Its an old place but I would definitely stay there again.

Always a great place to stay. One of my favorite places to stay in Robbinsville when motorcycling. They even let you pull your bike under the awning when weather turns bad You can walk to all the local restaurants, grocery store. Been coming here 20yrs. You should check it out!

As far as I know, it's pet free, but you may want to call, they are a fairly forgiving motel.
