There are many churches in Brockton. My favorite is the Universal Missionary Church at 30 North Main st, Brockton, MA. They also run a day center for those who want a safe, warm place to go while Mainspring House is closed to its guests. (It is not a 24 hour shelter.) Sunday services are at 7:30 am (outreach breakfast service) and 10 am (family service). The day center is open 7:30-4 tuesday through friday. There are evening services as well.
